Aberfeldy is a pretty market town with a good number of shops and cafes. It’s best known for The Birks of Aberfeldy, made famous by Robert Burns. The Birks make a lovely walk, with a spacious car park and picnic area at the base. Find out more at Walkhighlands.
The stunning Castle Menzies is situated on the outskirts of Aberfeldy and is also well worth a visit, as is the Fortingall Yew, just a short drive away in the village of Fortingall and said to be one of the oldest tree in Britain at between 2,00 and 3,000 years old.
