Lying at the eastern tip of Loch Rannoch, this small, welcoming village is a magnificent base for a Perthshire Adventure. Even the drive to reach it passes through some of Scotland's most magnificent views, including the Queen’s View and Loch Tummel. Several locations featured in the TV Show 'Outlander' can be visited.

Bag a Munro

Kinloch Rannoch makes an excellent venue for heading into the Hills. A number of Munro's can be 'bagged' in and around here, 26 in fact. One of the most celebrated is that of Schiehallion, the fairy hill, a picture-perfect mountain. 


Water Sports on Loch Rannoch 

With magnificent scenery and good access points (including Kinloch Rannoch's small beach), Loch Rannoch makes a fantastic location for a number of sports including kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, canoeing, wingsurfing and windsurfing.

Climb at Craig Care 

A perfect place for an evening's climb, this crag has several tiers to it and plenty of fun, lower graded routes. 


Event: Craig Care Hill Race

Every August since 1958, competitors have run this 1.6 km race with a 305m height difference. The event is part of the Rannoch Highland Gathering.

EAT, DRINK & SHOP

The Riverbank Cafe is cosy and kid friendly, situated right in the square in the middle of Kinloch Rannoch.


The Loch Tummel Inn offers magnificent expansive views over the Tummel valley, making it a fantastic spot for some food or a pint.


STAY
