Multi Day Hikes in Perthshire

Love hiking? Ticked off Perthshire's many Munro's? In need of a huge challenge, blisters n'all?. Three multi day hikes pass through Perthshire and take in some mind blowing scenery.

Rob Roy Way

From Drymen, on the bonny banks of Loch Lomond, this 6-8 day trail winds it's way through spectacular scenery to its fitting end destination of Pitlochry. 127 km of paths are the challenge here. It's Perthshire route includes the magnificent scenery of the entire length of Loch Tay and the waterfalls of the Birks of Aberfeldy.

Cateran Trail

The Caterans were fierce Cattle thieves who raided the farms of Strathardle. The Cateran Trail is named after them and not so fierce. It's a 4 to 5 day circular route that can be started at any point, traditionally it is in Blairgowrie many will start though. With 106 km of Perthshire and Angus glen's and hills, there are spectacular views yet it's a very manageable adventure.

From Kirk Yetholm in the south all the way to Cape Wrath in the North West, there is 864 km of terrain to conquer. 6 days or there abouts is spent traversing through Perthshire, taking in Comrie, Loch Fruechie, Aberfeldy, Pitlochry and Blair Atholl.
