The village of Kenmore has one of Scotland’s most spectacular settings. Sitting at the entrance to the River Tay and with its beach looking down Loch Tay towards the Ben Lawers Mountain range, sunsets here are breathtaking. There are plenty of places to eat and stay after a great day of outdoor adventuring.
Kenmore Hill - a circular walk with scots pine trees and far-reaching views over Loch Tay to the Ben Lawers range of Munros and the west.
Acharn Falls - a short circular walk with beautiful waterfalls, a Victorian hermit cave and lovely views over Loch Tay.
Bag a Munro
On the northern side of Loch Tay lies the Ben Lawers group of seven Munros. One glen overlies Glen Lyon, reputedly Scotland’s loveliest glen and home to a circular hiking route known as the Glen Lyon four.
